The nose is quite pleasant as it hits with peanut butter and roasted nuts along a touch of chocolate.
On the palate, Skewball provides a rich peanut butter flavor, with more roasted nuts to it, vanilla and chocolate.
The finish is short, with no burn, harsh or weird tasting notes leaving an aftertaste of roasted peanuts.
Skrewball is dessert on glass, delivering the promise of a rich peanut butter flavor as you get it from nose to finish.
No weird notes or alcohol burn providing a good experience from nose to finish.
Must confess that this type of drinks are not my jam as I prefer more challenging spirits but this thing is surprisingly good.
It’s reasonably sweet and something I could sip on the rocks or mix in cocktails.

- Both whiskeys delivered the much promised peanut butter flavor so we are off to a good start.
- Those who want an overly smooth and sweet peanut butter whiskey will bet be better served with the Skrewball as it’s dessert on glass and super easy to drink.
- The Bird Dog drinks more like a proper whiskey than the Skrewball as it feels more punchy due to the additional proof and is not as sweet making a better choice for folks like me that are not too fond of this type of whiskey.
