On the palate, Skatterbrain feels syrupy lacking in texture, flavor reminds me of a Starbucks Frappuccino as it tastes like vanilla, caramel, mocha and coffee with very little peanut flavor to it.
The finish is longer than what you expect from a flavored whiskey, with mild alcohol burn on the way down, vanilla flavor and a tad of baking spice.
Skatterbrain is a sweet-bomb making it a bit challenging to drink neat as it becomes cloying after a few sips, but works well in cocktails where it can be mixed with Coke or a Peanut Butter and Jelly Cocktail.
